Stats Module
The Stats module is FabHub's executive dashboard. It aggregates real-time data from every other module (Sell, Buy, Make, Check, Stocks) and transforms it into visual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This module is essential for facility managers, executives, and department heads to monitor the overall health of the business, spot logistical bottlenecks, and track financial profitability.
Global Controls and Actions
At the very top of the dashboard are the global controls. Any changes made here will recalculate the entire dashboard.
Key Elements & User Actions
- Site Dropdown: Located at the top right.
- Action: Click this to toggle between a global company-wide view or to isolate the data to a specific physical warehouse or branch.
- Date Range & Comparison Picker: Located at the top left.
- Action: Click to select the primary timeframe you want to analyze (e.g., This Week, This Month, Q1). The system automatically calculates the trend (the green/red numbers) by comparing your selected dates against the preceding period.
- Export Bar: The three icons at the top right (Share, Print, Download).
- Action: Click Share to send a dashboard link to a colleague.
- Action: Click Print to generate a hard copy for meetings.
- Action: Click Download to export the raw data (usually to CSV or PDF) for external reporting.
KPI Summary Sections
The dashboard is divided into four primary summary blocks. Each block contains metric cards displaying a large hero number and a smaller trend indicator.
- Green Arrow (Up/Down): Indicates a positive business trend compared to the last period (e.g., Sales went up, or Late orders went down).
- Red Arrow (Up/Down): Indicates a negative business trend (e.g., Sales went down, or Failed QA went up).
Orders Fulfillment Summary (Sell)
Tracks the outbound pipeline to your customers.
- Metrics tracked:
New Orders,Late,Ready to Ship,Awaiting Inspection,In Progress,Ready to Start. - User Action: Visually scan for red arrows, particularly under
LateorAwaiting Inspection, to identify if the shipping or QA departments are causing bottlenecks.
Purchases Summary (Buy)
Tracks your inbound supply chain and vendor performance.
- Metrics tracked:
Late,Shipped,In Progress,Below Pre-order Level,Out of Stock,On Time (yr),On Time (mth). - User Action: Monitor
Below Pre-order LevelandOut of Stockto anticipate manufacturing delays. High numbers inLateindicate you may need to speak with your suppliers.
Financial Summary
Tracks bottom-line revenue and costs.
- Metrics tracked:
Sales(Gross revenue),COGS(Cost of Goods Sold),Refunds,Profit(Sales minus COGS and Refunds),Margin(Profitability ratio).
Financial Summary Graph
Below the Financial KPI cards is an interactive line graph that plots various business metrics against a visual timeline.
Key Elements & User Actions:
- Timeframe Dropdown: Located at the top right of the graph (e.g.,
This Week).- Action: Change the X-axis scale to smooth out data over a year or drill down into daily/weekly fluctuations.
- Interactive Legend: The color-coded dots at the bottom (e.g.,
Margin,Orders,Stock).- Action: Hover over the lines on the graph to see exact data points for a specific day or month.
QA Summary
Tracks quality control efficiency and inventory counts.
- Metrics tracked:
Refunds(often tied to quality issues),Failed QA,Stock (Product)(finished goods count),Stock (Component)(raw materials count).
Products Performance Table
Located at the very bottom, this table moves away from high-level summaries and provides granular, line-by-line financial data for every item in your catalog.
Key Elements & User Actions
- Sort Actions: Every column header (
Product,Units Sold,Unit Price,Revenue,Margin %) has up/down arrows.- Action: Click the arrows next to
Revenueto see your highest-grossing items, or sort byMargin %to see which items are actually the most profitable.
- Action: Click the arrows next to
- Filter Actions: Beneath every column header is a filter box (e.g.,
Filter,Select Range).- Action: Type a specific product name to find it instantly, or set a range (e.g., Margin % between 10-20%) to isolate underperforming products.
- Pagination Actions: The controls at the bottom right (
Prev,1,2,Next).- Action: Click to navigate through your entire product catalog. You can also adjust the
Show per pagedropdown on the bottom left to view more rows at once.
- Action: Click to navigate through your entire product catalog. You can also adjust the

The table renders sortable column headers (each with up/down arrows), per-column filter inputs (text
FilterforProduct;Select Rangefor the numeric columns), pagination controls (Prev, page numbers,Next), and aShow per pagedropdown. The example above shows ten of 243 catalog rows.
Notes
- Real-Time Data: The Stats module updates dynamically. The moment a technician marks a Fix Order as
Paid, or a warehouse worker marks a Sales Order asShipped, the financial and fulfillment numbers on this screen will change.- Trend Context: A red arrow simply means a metric performed worse than the previous period. For example,
New Ordersmight have a red arrow if you had a massive record-breaking sales week last week, and this week returned to normal volume.
Best Practices
- Start at the Top, Dig at the Bottom: Use the top KPI cards to spot macro-level issues (e.g., "Why are profits down this week?"). Then, scroll down to the
Products Performancetable, sort byMargin %(lowest to highest), and identify which specific products are dragging your numbers down.- Target the
LateandFailed QAMetrics: These two boxes are the most critical operational indicators on the dashboard. A spike here almost always predicts a spike inRefundsa few weeks later.- Review Product Margins Routinely: Use the table filters to isolate any product with a
Margin %falling below your company's target threshold. This tells you instantly whether you need to increase theUnit Priceor find a cheaper supplier for the raw materials to lower your COGS.
