Glossary

• BOM: Bill of materials: list of components and quantities to make a parent item.
• FabHub: The FabHub platform: SaaS (this site), MRP app, and API.
• Item: A part, material, or product master record (SKU-level).
• Location: A place where stock is held (warehouse, bin, site).
• MRP: Material requirements planning: aligning supply with demand.
• Organization: Your company tenant in FabHub (users, data, billing).
• Seat: A billable user seat on your subscription.
• Site: A logical or physical site under an organization (limits vary by plan).
• SKU: Stock-keeping unit: identifier for an item.
• Work order: Manufacturing or maintenance work executed against BOMs and inventory.
